Yesterday was more than just a bed party. It was one of those moments that quietly reminds a parent that time does not slow down.
It feels like just yesterday I was holding my little girl in my arms, tying her shoes, helping with homework, and praying over every step of her journey. And now, I look at this beautiful, intelligent, strong young woman and realize that she is preparing to spread her wings.
As the day gets closer for her to leave for college, my heart feels two things at once. A deep ache because I will miss her more than words can ever explain, and overwhelming pride because of the incredible woman she has become.
You have worked so hard for this moment. Your kindness, determination, faith, and strength inspire me every single day. Watching you grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
No matter where life takes you, you will always be my little girl. My heart. My greatest joy.
I am so proud of you, and I know God has amazing things in store for your future.
Go chase your dreams, baby girl. The world is waiting for you, and I will be cheering you on every step of the way.

Swimming alongside lemon sharks was incredible… but having a tiger shark glide within a foot or two of me? Unreal.
