With enormous amounts of raw power and energy, CEVIL once more delivers a cinematic journey through her new song “Cruel.” It’s a song about inequality and injustice in the society we live in today, and how it can feel almost impossible to imagine these things ever changing.
But with this song, she does make a change. And thanks for that 🙏🏻

It’s been four years since the last album from Nicklas Sahl, and boy, what has happened for this young man in all that time..? Well, he might have been busy growing up. Busy finding out who he really is, outside of all the expectations that followed his very fast and impressive climb to the top of the charts early in his career.
For us, it’s the first independent album release together, and I can tell you it’s been both a hell of a workload, but also the most satisfying and rewarding feeling of freedom and meaning.
Thanks to all of our partners in this — we couldn’t do it without you.
And thank you, Nicklas, for being the most generous and talented guy out there, and for trusting me through this very long and crazy run of big decisions. We goddamn made it.
Now… we start working even more 😅
This weekend, Nicklas Sahl is releasing another gem from his forthcoming album: the song “Human” by The Killers. It’s one thing to be an amazing songwriter, but it’s truly an incredible gift to be able to transform songs by other artists into something entirely new — especially something that feels as if it has been here all along. So spend your time until March 6 in the company of this great piece of craftsmanship 👌
Why are we in such a hurry? Why are we constantly worrying about the future and what lies ahead of us? Humans can easily spend a tremendous amount of time on everything else except being present in the now—almost as if we’re hurrying up to die. Why don’t we build a world where creating more meaning and joy for ourselves holds greater value in our society? That’s what we’re voting for ✊
Back last year, Nicklas sat down and wrote this song. While writing, he drifted into the chorus of the amazing classic “Stars” by Simply Red, and couldn’t get around writing the song without that melody. As you can probably imagine, we had some serious talks about how to solve this “problem,” but decided to reach out to Mick Hucknall and ask for permission. He got back to us and said, “Go ahead, lads,” and here we go :). Enjoy 🙏
