Like every other day at Junk Mail we talk about how unbelievable it is that we’re getting to do this. This is a celebration post for how far we’ve come since we got started in March of this year.
Thanks to @alleycatgreenville for being the first record store to pick up a few copies of both albums in our catalogue, Neon Throne by @rumbletramp and @marbleberryseeds and This Is An Intervention by @boygirlrising !! These albums are as handmade as it gets, with @ab_nab machining the blanks themself in their backyard (scroll for the How It’s Made!)
JMR has made the decision to expand out into cassettes, so expect to see releases of Neon Throne and TIAI soon! We’ve also got a few other surprises planned, so be sure to keep an eye on our page <3
Boygirl Nation!! We are so excited to announce a lathe cut run of This Is An Intervention by Boygirl Rising. The copies of this album are handmade, hand-numbered, and cut in Gilligan’s spare bedroom.
These records are here a month after TIAI’s two-year anniversary, and almost three years to the date of Boygirl Rising’s inception. You can find them at any of BGR’s upcoming shows, including their tour up the east coast in September!

We did it! While the album’s name had to be changed due to some pesky copyright laws, the Rumbletramp/Marble Berry Seeds split’s first run on vinyl has been cut and is limited to 40 10” records. It’s also officially streaming everywhere! Swipe through for a sample on one of our test cuts.
If you aren’t able to snag one on the final leg of their May tour, there should be copies for sale at @slugfestnc May 31 and June 1. See you there!
Figured it was time for us to introduce ourselves and announce our inaugural pressing!! Junk Mail Records is a DIY record label operating out of Central North Carolina and we are so excited for our first release, Kenny Rogers’ The Gambler by some of our founding artists, @rumbletramp and @marbleberryseeds . These stars of the Triangle folk punk scene are hitting the road later this month and we’re gonna try our best to make sure you can pick up a hard copy of this album fresh off the lathe when you stop by the merch table at any of their shows up the east coast.
