@crossingwater and i recorded this just over a year ago, and since then it’s been kept, waiting for the right time to share it. i wrote and produced this in 2023, but performing it with L, it really came to life and became one of the most cherished pieces of work i’ve been part of. It’s a really special song to us and we feel it’s time to put it out there - thank you to everyone who’s supported Lorazepam in the two years we took the stage and we hope you enjoy this 🤍

@junipermay_ is the experimental project of Pōneke artist Lora May. Her music consists of samples of found sounds, field recordings and past works, meshed together, dismantled and reconstructed. An exercise in releasing and repositioning pain into something viscerally external, a love letter to the divinity of transness, a cry to be understood, held through a raw, uncompromising, noisy and diy lens.
