The noise. The pressure. The expectations. The constant feeling of life around us is not real life .
In times like these, I’ve learned that being or trying to be a great musician means nothing if you’re not trying to be a great human being. The music only matters when it comes from something real.
Maybe that pressure is what shapes us.
Maybe it’s what keeps us moving forward.
“Under Pressure” out 5.29.26 on @brobotrecords

“Best of @brobotrecords Vol. 1” mixed by me.
This isn’t just a mix, it’s a snapshot of years of building, grinding, and believing in a sound. From day one BROBOT has always been about pushing real house music forward, breaking new artists, and standing on quality over hype.
We’ve had the privilege of releasing records that found their way into clubs, festivals, radio stations, and crates all over the world… and more importantly, records that last. That’s what this is about. Longevity. Taste. Identity.
This mix pulls together some of those moments - the records that defined the label, the ones that still hit, and the energy that’s carried BROBOT from then to now.
If you’ve been rocking with the label, you already know. If you’re new, this is the perfect place to tap in.
Turn it up. This is BROBOT. On @applemusic
Here we go. BROBOT's 200th release wow! Can't believe it
“Got To Release” with the incredible Darlene McCoy is finally out in the world. A little soul, a little machine, and a reminder that sometimes the only way forward is to let it all go.
It's Time To Release. 🖤
@juniorsanchez marks a major milestone with the 200th release on @brobotrecords , celebrating over a decade of championing both pioneers and forward-thinking artists in house music. For the occasion, he teams up with acclaimed gospel singer, songwriter, author, and radio personality Darlene McCoy on the powerful new single Got To Release.
Blending disco-filtered breakbeats with uplifting energy, the track delivers big peak-time vibes while McCoy’s unmistakable voice brings a soulful spirit to the dancefloor. Got To Release captures the ethos that has defined Brobot for more than ten years.
Got To Release is out on all DSPs via #BrobotRecords this Friday, March 13th.
Last Friday at Book Club Radio was something special. The room felt alive in that way you can’t fake… pure creativity and people coming together just to dance. Big love to Jojo, Tinzo, and the whole crew for building such a beautiful space for the music and the community.
One of my favorite moments of the night: someone came up to me asking if I heard the DJ that played right before Jojo and how good they were. I told him it was me. We both laughed. But honestly I loved that moment because it says everything about what nights like that are really about. When the music is bigger than the DJ, you know the vibe is right. Highlights for me Tinzo w Snap Rhythm is a dancer & Jojo with Q lazzarus Goodbye Horses # moments
Always love playing Book Club. Can’t wait to be back and see everyone again soon. Photo credit @jackbolga
