Proud to present my first lamp - “AERO LAMP” in New York.
“AERO LAMP” is inspired by kites and the feeling of being suspended beneath an endless sky.
I’ve always been obssesed with the vastness of skies, it being a universal and humanistic subject matter: borderless, shared, and constantly shifting across today’s global landscape. As a diasporic artist constantly in transit, the lamp reflects ideas of movement, memory, belonging, and the space between departure and return.
A lightweight red metal frame holds stretched sky printed fabric, diffusing light in soft atmospheric tones. Portable and adaptable, the lamp transforms from kite into shelter, object into lantern.

“AERO LAMP” was selected to be shown at the 6th Edition of the @headhi_ny Lamp Show at the @thestandardhighline tonight 7pm EDT. The show was also co-curated by @super___house , kicking off @nycxdesign Festival.
See you all at the opening ! ⚡️

Full story on
“BIG BANG”
My latest work transforms an empty void in the skies of Kuala Lumpur into a sensorial dining experience. A monumental starburst anchors the space, intersecting architecture and furniture—connecting guests within a shared yet intimate field of energy. I visualised light as atmospheres drawn from the sky above, the city lights below, and the rhythm of the streets in between.
Only for 90 days, this dining experience is in collaboration with Chef @toraikc , where we push the boundaries of sensorial dining - revealing flavour, textures and stories in imaginative ways.

“BIG BANG” | The Process
From hand sketches and digital illustrations to computational modelling and material testing, my design process often evolves through a continuous digital-to-physical loop, refining geometry, scale, and form. On site, it further shifts through collaboration and real-time digital markups that shape both space and the user experience itself.
BIG BANG, my latest light sculpture is a spatial exploration of light, perception, and expansion in a starburst form. The work unfolds within the monumental upper floors of a tower in Kuala Lumpur and reimagined as an immersive dining experience.
In celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day, the process of conceptualizing and creating the work reflects how the iPad Pro M5 and Apple Pencil Pro extend this process — turning a single idea into an immersive, expanding experience.
“A thought, continuously unfolding into space.”

“SONUS LUMINUS”
Highlights from our recent sound-light performance featuring new minimalism works by Max Richter, Hania Rani, and Nils Frahm.
Centred around a performative light sculpture where light and sound intertwined in real time, each note of the performance shaped the atmosphere and bent perception of time.
This was our second edition of “SONUS LUMINUS”, following its debut in 2024. Immense gratitude to everyone who joined this one-night-only experience and to @elseretreats , @fantasticfolly , and our incredible team.
Full videos to follow soon.

“SONUS LUMINUS”
Accompanied by classical and new minimalist piano works by Max Richter, Hania Rani and Nils Frahm, @aimeimeilin and I staged a sound - light performance through my new interactive work, “HYPERCUBE.”
Suspended in space, a luminous grid mirrored the architecture of the grand piano, unfolding into a tesseract form beyond its physical body. As the piano sounded, light responded in real time — tracing unseen pathways where time bent and overlapped.
This marked our second “SONUS LUMINUS” performance, following its first edition in 2024.
We want thank those who attended this one-night only show, made possible by @elseretreats , @fantasticfolly and our team.

“BIG BANG”
A moment of genesis. When all matter and energy expands from a single, dense point - setting space, time, and senses into motion.
———
“BIG BANG” is an upcoming 90-day only immersive dining experience for @thisis90d atop a skyscraper in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
“SONUS LUMINUS : PART DEUX”
For one night only, join @aimeimeilin and myself as we reimagine @elseretreats as a performative space. Alongside classical and new minimalist piano works by Hania Rani and Nils Frahm, we will present a dialogue with the grand piano - illuminated by a beacon that responds in real time, translating sound into light.
This will be our second “Sonus Luminus” performance following the premiere in 2024.
Venue:
Raw, Else Kuala Lumpur
Date: 05/02/2026 (Thursday)
Time: 7:00PM and 9:00PM

“MOTION”
My practice begins in motion — a gesture, a trace, a feeling. Ideas evolve as I move between environments, shaping my work along the way.
As an Apple user, I am now excited to fuse the all new @apple 14-inch MacBook Pro and Ipad Pro in my creative processes and beyond. Both devices are powered by the new monster M5 chips which creates significant AI, CPU and GPU boosts - allowing me to document, challenge, expand and develop my mad ideas in motion.⚡️
