Juneteenth JoyFest headliner: Mick Jenkins.
Chicago-raised artist known for intentional, thoughtful hip-hop. Everything he does is rooted in truth, reflection, and lived experience.
From The Water[s] to The Patience, his work has always carried depth. Jazz, soul, and hip-hop all show up in the sound.
He’s said what needs to be said, for who needs to hear it, no matter the subject.

DEATHGOD—Omaha-born, self-produced and engineered. His sound pulls from hip-hop, R&B, indie, and drum and bass, focused on capturing real moments and feeling. Omaha Entertainment Award winner for Best New Artist.
Keiria Marsha—artist, creative, and community leader. Her work moves through music, storytelling, and impact, bringing a sound and presence that’s rooted in something real.
SOL!—North Omaha artist blending rap, R&B, and alternative sounds. His work is honest, personal, and built around connection, on stage and in the community.
Ogi Kidd—Omaha-based artist with a style rooted in independent hip-hop. Known for showing up, performing, and continuing to build with intention.

More voices joining Juneteenth JoyFest:
Noni Williams—North Omaha poet, teaching artist, and creative whose work moves across disciplines. Recognized as both a Ten Outstanding Young Omahan and American, their voice has been featured across spaces like Juneteenth JoyFest, AfroFest, and Joslyn Art Museum. Their work blends poetry with mathematical perspective, bringing a different kind of depth to how we experience the world around us.
Destruction Drill Team—a youth-based group in the Omaha metro made up of drummers and dancers ages 4–18. With over 12 years of marching, they’ve grown into a nationally recognized program rooted in discipline, culture, and youth expression.
Sharieff Clark—Omaha’s own, bringing poetry straight from the heart, mind, and soul. From his early days with Louder Than A Bomb to his current work, his approach stays honest and grounded. He’s currently working on a poetry chapter book, Urban Lamentations, while continuing to explore music and photography
Allen Stevenson—Omaha-based poet with over 20 years in the craft. His work shows up through performance, community, and consistency. Nominated multiple times for Outstanding Performance Poet and Nebraska State Poet, he also released his spoken word album Experience Points in 2025 and continues to co-host Writes Of Passage, an Omaha open mic that keeps poetry active in the city.

Your Juneteenth JoyFest host, DJs, and youth performer:
ADG will lead the stage—an Omaha creative rooted in movement, history, and purpose. As a dancer, choreographer, and educator, his work is grounded in honoring the past while pushing expression forward, creating space for artists to grow and be seen.
On the music—
Riz the DJ, Omaha-born, brings sound that’s all about energy and connection. From soulful grooves to bass-heavy moments, every set is meant to move you.
AFROBADDIE, a duo of Midwest-based Black women DJs, bring an afro-diasporic sound, from Afrobeats and Amapiano to House and R&B, creating spaces where community and culture stay at the center.
And representing the next generation—
Jayde Dorsey, 13, Omaha’s very own, is bringing a Neo Gospel sound that speaks for itself
