Van jullie houden is het makkelijkste wat ik ooit heb gedaan. Jullie hebben me laten groeien, als mens en als vrouw, en ik ben trots op die versie. Het is mijn taak om jullie groot te brengen tot sterke, liefdevolle mannen. Mannen die verantwoordelijkheid nemen, die durven te voelen en zich niet verstoppen achter een masker. To everyone making motivational videos about how we all have the same 24 hours in a day and it’s just about prioritising and ‘up to you’. No no no darling. Life hits different when you’re raising kids and building a career at the same time. Some days the win is opening a new venue, some days the win is brushing my hair 😂

I’ve held onto this quote for years because it says everything about how we show up. So often, we walk into a room assuming people already have an opinion about us. And without realizing it, we adjust, we make ourselves smaller. We sit differently at the table or we try to perform. At the latest @femalexfinance event, we talked about exactly that. Showing up authentically, without letting the imagined narrative in your head control you. Be bold, wear whatever the f* you want, speak out loud, let them listen. It starts with you 🤍
