On the longest night of the year, The Junction Keepers joined other artists in bringing light to the darkest night. New Moon- power outage- this city was pitched. With traffic lights down, rain and poor visibility, pedestrians had to be on their A game to cross anywhere safely.
Share your crosswalk experiences in the comments!!! What did you see in the streets Dec 20th during this city wide mayhem?

The Junction Keep collaborated with @castroartwalk to visit Arthouse SF, Queer AF, Ruby's Clay Studio and Joseph Abbati's Tongues and Torsos exhibition at MAG Galleries. What an inspiring night!
A beautiful night at the Festival of Altars. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the altar to share their stories of traffic violence and took time to pay respects to those who have passed.
Thank you @sesilu.ulises for designing our altar.
Join Us this Sunday! We are shining a light on to this amazing cultural experience. Our intention is to hold space for the traditions and rituals brought by thousands of people to San Francisco’s Day of The Dead celebrations.
This November 7th, we’re excited to announce Castro Art Walk’s collaboration with @junctionkeepers !
The Junction Keep is a mobile public art experience that bridges safety, storytelling, and spirit across the city’s Cultural Districts.
At the heart of the project is a 25-foot illuminated mobile sculpture, a glowing vessel that acts as both a beacon and a gathering point. Created and directed by Laurus Myth, the work merges sculpture, performance, and social practice to engage communities around pedestrian safety and the unseen stories that inhabit the city’s streets.
Castro Art Walk takes its route on some major roadways and stretches across almost all of the Castro District. As it gets darker earlier, it’s important to practice safety as we embark on our creative monthly adventures. The Junction Keep will provide us with an illuminated reminder and new friends this month as we transition into fall/winter art walks. If you see these lovely people at the November 7th Castro Art Walk, stop and say hi!
Sign up with the link in our bio to join us this first Friday, 5:00-8:00 pm! The guided tour leaves from @maggalleries at 5:00 :)
Celebrate community with us at UNDISCOVERED SF Block Party on October 18 from 12PM - 6PM in SOMA PILIPINAS!
