The Burning Man Community Events team presents SF Burnal Equinox 2026: The Cosmic Treehouse. A playful take on the 2026 Burning Man theme, Axis Mundi, this event’s journey will take you from the “unseen below” to the top of the cosmic tree, crossing the bridge from physical to cosmic realms! This event marks the midpoint between Burns and provides a chance to connect, ignite, and revel in the creative fire that fuels our community. Enjoy live music, variety performances, DJs, silent disco, interactive art, mutant vehicles, theme camps, chill spaces, and more!
Come early for the “Flambe Lounge” Art & Culture Salon from 7-9pm which will feature a mixture of performances, conversational spaces, and short presentations about community projects, information sharing from Burning Man staff, and ways you can get involved with local projects. Then we’ll light up the dance floors inside and out and celebrate until the week hours with the amazing community!
Bring an art project, an interactive experience, your theme camp or mutant vehicle! Perform on the stages, throughout the space, or outdoors in the silent disco! Volunteer to help create the event! Bring your celebration of convergence, expression, and shared mythmaking to our treehouse!
