First time behind the decks for @dominion_syr this past Saturday and the room showed UP at @thesongsyr 🖤
That dancefloor was packed with tons of good energy. I intentionally curated a set that paid tribute to both classic and contemporary threads of the scene. Some of the selections were direct responses on my part to the turbulent moment we’re living in. Hearing big applause after a few tracks I spent days wondering whether I should even include was honestly unreal.
Huge thanks to everyone who danced, listened, and trusted me with the opening mood for the night, especially DJs @marterowsam_ & @krvptkeeper who RIPPED as always and took the vibes further into the stratosphere. This scene means a lot to me so I don’t take moments like this lightly. You all made my birthday weekend the best one in years!

This past Wednesday I had an amazing time and a wonderful opportunity to open up an excellent show by Vision Video and Viva Whatever with a fun DJ set.
Since Vision Video's lyrics and stage show touch on themes of anti-authoritarianism, solidarity, empowerment, and inclusion, I decided to curate a set of songs that also mostly centered these themes. It was a lot of fun spinning Kneecap and Algiers along with the likes of Light Asylum and Nine Inch Nails.
This marked my first time as a performer on a @dominion_syr event and my friend Emma also took some sick photos!

Huge thanks to Glass Spells and Dark Chisme for an incredible night yesterday! I had the coincidental honor of running front-of-house for their show at Funk N Waffles four months after bumping into @anthonyspells at Cruel World Fest and having watched the band hustle and work hard for years on the 'gram. It was a blast dialling in the sound and lighting and everyone was so cool and chill! So grateful to be part of this scene and for all the friends and hangs along the way.
