Our community has been very lucky to have to support of Rocky View County when it comes to our major capital projects through their matching capital grant funding. This year we were able to swap out our original single paned windows for sealed units that open from Chalmers Heritage Conservation and the Hardwood Gallery put in a new dance floor for us. We were also able to replace some worn out civil plank flooring with more durable ceramic tile. These updates ensure that the ol’gal is ready for another 4 generations of celebrating. Thanks to our community for supporting our Casino, without your contribution of time this project would have not been possible. Our most recent renovation project is almost done! We recently replaced all the vinyl plank flooring with this gorgeous ceramic tile. It looks like wood, but will be so much more durable and stand up for years!! The building is looking so sharp.

We are swooning over our new windows. We wanted a new set of windows that would improve functionality of our space. We wanted to replicate our old windows but make them a sealed units with screens that could open. We contacted the pros over at CHC, @chalmers.heritageab , they are specialists when it comes to old buildings and fixing/improving them. Our main installer was Erik and he did an amazing job helping these new windows look original. It was very special to have the first event on our new wood be our annual Christmas and Santa potluck party on Saturday! It was so much fun, as always Santa stole the show. Missed seeing a few faces but really enjoyed seeing people who haven’t been in ages! Thanks for coming and sharing in the season with us.
