Artwork Statement:
This is inspired by ancient China‘s cosmic GPS and energy balance system.
青龍Azure Dragon represents the East — wisdom and growth.
白虎White Tiger represents the West — powerful and change.
朱雀Vermilion Bird represents the South — rebirth from fire.
玄武Black Tortoise represents the North — immense stability.
These four traditional motifs are not random doodles;
they are drawn from a real, living heritage.
My friend, Summer, full of unique painting style who shares my love for all things fantastical, The four are scattered across the four corners of the world.
My eyes were always fixed on the horizon, on the next faraway destination. But in the journey from one disc throw to the next, I started seeing the wonders right beside me.
Thanks #discgolf , for teaching me to see the seasons again — spring, summer, autumn, winter — and the subtle shifts in my own world. The grass, the flowers, the birds, the wind, the bright and shadow, the clouds… they have all reappeared in my sight.
Two custom designs are also part of these:
1. 陰陽Yin & Yang, formed by the tentacles of a squid. A reminder that nothing is permanent; for every good, there is a challenge.
2. Be water, my friend. Because even a small stream knows its own natural path.

The Kansai Open has wrapped up, and I’m thrilled to have taken part in this tournament. In my hometown, the training grounds I usually practice on don’t have as many elevation changes and slopes. So coming here, I gained a lot of valuable experience. Putting and approaching on slopes was especially challenging—the disc often rolled much farther than expected.
Hole 11, in particular, had a really narrow safe zone, which reminded me a lot of the bed and fairways I encountered in Finland. I really enjoyed it! It truly tested the precision of disc landing positions.
A huge thank you to the Tournament Director@Yoshiki Sakai n @noriyukiokaue —none of this would have been possible without you all and support. Thanks to all the FPO players from China, Japan, and Korea. Special thanks to @charisma_fukuta and @watanobemari —the horse meat was delicious, especially the neck cut. Thank you, Okaue, for the 神鹰sake—here’s to hoping I score more eagles in the near future. And thank you, Yoshioka San, for the local gift and so many big loves.
This experience was filled with love and emotion. I’ll keep working hard, continue learning, and keep improving. You’ll see a better version of me. #innovadiscs #teaminnova
