Our wedding day was on the Saturday before Easter, and it was the most special day of my life. Every moment of it! Everyone we love in one room, experiencing nothing but genuine joy during this culminating event to celebrate our love.
Our engagement and wedding day was a deeply reflective time for me. How do you even begin to sum up over 10 years of love and gratitude and history with someone in just a few minutes, in the most sacred words you’ll say to each other? Not without lots of happy tears over chocolate cake at a diner while writing them, and snotty-nose crying in your car as you prepare yourself to profess them the night before your wedding day.
It’s almost overwhelming to process how much love and devotion we’ve felt from our friends and family during this time. Everyone showing up for us in each of their own ways. It makes me emotional still, and we are eternally grateful.
Here’s to a lifetime of love together and finally getting to be a party Brock :)

Our 10 year anniversary❤️ It feels like it’s gone by so quickly, yet I can’t remember life without Carter in it. He’s loved and supported me through it all - huge life milestones, the loss of a parent, 3 different cities, 2 pets, job changes. Every day he shows me the value of expressing my creativity to the fullest, advocating for myself and my opinions, sharing my kindness with others, and embracing the imperfect moments. He sees me like no one else does and makes life so much more fun. 15 year old me developed a crush on him for his sense of humor and safe to say a decade later nothing’s changed :)
Carter and I went through our photos last night to compile some of favorite photos in chronological order of each year since 2015, so everyone can see how we’ve grown up together
10 years ago, carter and I had our first date on this bench, and I shook like a leaf when he held my hand for the first time, no clue that I’d found the person I’d spend the rest of my life with. 10 years later, when he asked me to marry him in that same spot, I’ve never been so sure of anything in my whole life. WE’RE ENGAGED AHHHH!!!💍🥹🤍😭
