Autumn in Swedish Lapland feels different 🍂.
The landscape turns into deep reds, warm golds and soft light that moves slowly across the mountains. Places like Abisko become something truly special during this time of year.
My 6 Day Photography Tour in Septmeber is about exploring that wild landscape — from mighty canyons and stunning waterfalls to wide, open mountain views 🏔️💦📸.
But more than that, it’s about slowing down, connecting with nature and sharing the experience with like-minded photographers.

I’ve been working on something very special over the past weeks…
Together with @furu_norway , I created an exclusive 4-day Nature Photography Retreat in Norway - and it’s finally ready 🌲📸.
We’ll stay in luxurious Mirror Cabins, surrounded by forests, lakes and complete silence.
This experience is designed for couples or close friends who share a love for nature and photography - and want to slow down for a few days.
Over the retreat, you will learn how to:
🌲 Find strong and simple compositions in nature
🌸 Explore macro photography with blooming wildflowers
💦 Create soft, dreamy long exposures in waterfalls
🎨 Bring your images to life through a thoughtful editing process
We’ll photograph in places like Sjusjøen and near Lillehammer - but also spend time right outside the cabins, where the real magic often happens.
After a day of photographing, you will have the chance to relax in your private Hot Tub 🛀.
👥 Only 4 participants in total.
🗓️ June 11-14, 2026
📍Åsmarka, 2 hrs. north of Oslo
If this resonates with you, I’d love to have you there.

Sweden’s West Coast is one of those places that keeps surprising me as a landscape photographer 📸.
Smooth granite cliffs shaped by the sea, colorful fishing villages and remote little islands scattered across the horizon. Every time I come here, the light feels different - and the compositions seem endless.
At the end of May I’ll be hosting a 6 Day Photography Tour in Bohuslän to explore this incredible coastline together with a small group of photographers.
📅 May 25–30, 2026
👥 Limited to only 6 photographers
We’ll photograph sunrise and sunset along the coast, explore places like Smögen and Stångehuvud, and even spend time on the remote Weather Islands.
I’m really excited about this one.
Would you join a photography adventure like this? 📸
Stockholm’s Archipelago is made up of more than 30.000 islands - and every single one feels a little different.
Some are wild and remote. Others are shaped by history, fishing culture or endless summer evenings by the sea.
Here are a few of my personal favorites:
📍 Landsort — dramatic cliffs, lighthouse views and the feeling of standing at the edge of the Baltic Sea.
📍 Arholma — charming red cottages, quiet forests, and a slower pace of life far in the northern archipelago.
📍 Nåttarö — deep forests, white sandy beaches, and some of the most beautiful nature in the southern archipelago.
📍 Bullerön — untouched wilderness, weathered pine trees and a place that feels frozen in time.
📍 Sandhamn — vibrant summer atmosphere, sailing culture and beautiful coastal scenery mixed with island life.
Did you know that you can find my favorite photo spots on each of those islands in my Stockholm Photo Map 🗺️📸?

One of the biggest myths in landscape photography?
That you need a wide angle lens to capture great landscapes 🏔️🌲📸.
And honestly… I used to believe that too.
But over time, I realized that a telezoom lens can completely change the way you see the landscape.
Instead of capturing everything, they allow you to focus on details, layers, textures and light. Mountains suddenly feel closer together. Mist becomes more dramatic. And simple scenes can turn into powerful compositions.
Some of my favorite landscape photos were actually taken with a telezoom lens - and not a wide angle lens.
For me, it’s not about fitting the entire scene into one frame.
It’s about simplifying the scene and guiding the viewer’s eye to what truly matters.
Wide angle lenses definitely have their place. But telephoto lenses? They often help me create images with more depth, mood, and emotion.
All photos in this reel were captured with a @canonnordic telezoom lens, ranging from 80mm to 400mm 📷.
Do you prefer shooting landscapes wide… or compressed?
Some moments in nature feel almost unreal 🤯.
And seeing a rare white moose in the deep forests of Värmland was definitely one of them 🌲🫎🌲.
In Scandinavian folklore, they were often seen as spiritual guardians of the forest — mysterious beings that symbolized nature’s hidden magic and reminded people to respect the wilderness around them.
And honestly… after witnessing this incredible encounter myself, I completely understand why.
It felt less like wildlife photography and more like stepping into a Nordic fairytale 🐉🧌🧚🏻.
Have you ever experienced a moment in nature that felt almost unreal?

There is something special about seeing the world from above 🚁.
When I first started flying a drone, it completely changed the way I look at landscapes. Shapes become clearer, patterns start to appear, and suddenly even familiar places feel new again.
Aerial photography is not just about going as high as you can - it’s about seeing differently.
From above, light and shadow create their own compositions. Lines guide your eye in unexpected ways. And sometimes, the smallest details on the ground turn into the most powerful images.
In this carousel, I’m sharing a few of my favorite moments captured from the air - places where everything came together for just a brief second.
Have you ever tried aerial photography? Or is it something you’d like to explore?
After sharing my favorite national parks in Sweden, I want to share a place in Norway that surprised me very much - Rondane National Park 🏞️.
It’s one of Norway’s oldest national parks, but somehow it still feels a bit under the radar — especially compared to places like Lofoten or the fjords.
What I found there was something completely different.
Soft, rolling mountains, endless space, and this calm atmosphere that’s hard to describe.
It’s not dramatic in an obvious way — but the more time you spend there, the more it grows on you.
Definitely a place I’ll come back to.
Have you ever been to Rondane? 👇
