〰️life on hypnosis 〰️
The spring equinox marked
4 years since I started my hypnotherapy training
2 years since I became certified as a clinical hypnotherapist
1 year since I started my creative hypnotherapy business Spectral Center
+ 10 years of hypnotherapy and self hypnosis
Practicing self hypnosis and undergoing hypnotherapy has been the best medicine I’ve ever taken. Studying clinical hypnosis and becoming a hypnotherapist myself has allowed me to expand my life into helping others heal themselves too.
Engaging with the subconscious and the imagination feels like unearthing a new dimension of existence - like discovering a hidden spectrum of light, hearing a new octave, peeling back layers of oneself to reveal the core.
Contrary to popular belief, hypnosis isn’t about surrendering control of your mind to someone else, it’s quite the opposite. It’s a vessel to self-empowerment, a doorway to a higher level of co-creation with consciousness. It’s more akin to a gentle awakening than a deep slumber.
If you’re curious about the healing art of hypnosis and how I practice it, you can sign up for my newsletter to receive a free self hypnosis recording and occasional transmissions about the magic of consciousness.

THRESHOLD
The year is nearly half-gone. If that sentence lands somewhere uncomfortable, this session is for you.
May 20 · 20h CET · Online · 90 minutes · €15
A short framing on the subconscious as threshold space, then a guided induction set at the edge of water and land.
We release what's accumulated — the pressure of time, the pre-summer weight.
Then we look at the rest of the year through image and symbol rather than a to-do list.

Eszter Némethi and Julia E. Dyck guide the final masterclass of the trajectory, returning to questions, tensions, and intuitions that surfaced through shared practice during the Listening Field Winter School, and using them as a springboard for collective inquiry.

“To listen is to give audience — to allow something to act in the world.”
(notes from School of Magical Politics Listening Group)
Listening is often described as receptive or passive, yet every act of listening is also a decision: what to attend to, what to ignore, what to let resonate. In political life as in art, listening defines the field of what can be heard, remembered, and made real.
Through a short lecture and somatic experiments, this session explores how listening protocols - guided, embodied modes of attention - can move from a laboratory context into lived, public space. It asks how listening can be carried by the body itself, and how the listener becomes an active, situated actor in the world.

Julia E. Dyck is a Canadian artist and hypnotherapist based in Brussels whose multidisciplinary practice weaves sound, performance, and altered states of consciousness to explore the porous boundaries between the body, technology, and the (sub)conscious. Working through relational and speculative methodologies, she invites audiences into immersive experiences of collective transformation, using voice, vibration, and narrative as portals into new modes of perception and presence.
