PLEASE READ:
Although we all loved the movie, “Sinners”, We want to share the true essence of what The Juke Joint is about.
We aren’t creating an event series that looks to profit off of a movie, (You DONT HAVE TO DRESS IN THAT ERA) we’re creating a community where we can enjoy each other. Share ideas, break bread and LOVE on each other.
We are dedicating ourselves to developing TRUE fellowship. Not just a party but a safe haven for us to be free.
When we say: Come as you are, we mean it.
Come looking for community
Come lost, searching for a place to fit in
Come with questions that someone can hopefully answer
Come with that idea
Come looking to dance and enjoy yourself
But most importantly.. Come authentically #You
We can’t wait to welcome you in.
For a few hours, we left the world outside
and stepped into something timeless.
A room full of strangers… that didn’t feel like strangers.
That’s what happens when culture leads.
Black Cities. Timeless Culture. Unforgettable Moments
Welcome to The Juke Joint.
Stay Tuned for the next one.
