Ah yes the 2016 nostalgia floating in the air. I was 10 years younger, working my corporate America job, while hustling my art career. So much sacrifice and shifts had to happen in order to support myself while trying to grow my art career. Even though I wasn’t doing my art full time having that job helped me pay for my first car, first apartment, adopt Otie, all while evolving as a creative.
2016 was that year for me where I felt like my art was taking off, I was invited to my first ever @secretwalls and it was one of the best days of my life 🤣🩷 I started to do live paintings, had my work in galleries, did my first ever art installation, went to local art shows, did one of the first ever @indieflea 🥺
Such a rad year to have created and lived! I was only scratching the surface of what I could do and later on that year I quit my corporate job and began serving part time at a restaurant to have more time making my art.
My art story is such a slow burn, I’ve been a local Tampa artist for such a long time and moral of the story is keep showing up, keep trying! Things change and evolve constantly, never know when it’s your time ✨🎉
✨2025 mural round up 🔁 playing some catch up from last year but these are my favorite moments❤️ from painting on the ground to getting to paint on an ac unit I truly am grateful for any opportunity to keep creating, problem solving, and bringing color/fun to any type of project. Despite my body going thru the gauntlet in the hot summer times (which makes me question my sanity) I truly am thankful for all the dope work I get to do with some amazing people in the community 🩷
Ready to push more paint in 2026 🎨👩🏻🎨
2025 was such a whirlwind! I just am grateful to have survived another year of freelancing, and could spend some precious moments with friends and family.
As always big thank you to my community of friends, family, and of the like that continues to support me. Couldn’t do it without any of yall! 🩷🥲
