Huge day for Sergio Pires, who gets his first pole position for Saturday’s race with Brendon Leitch.
Jayden Ojeda will start Sunday’s race at The Bend from pole with Paul Lucchitti too.
Luke Youlden also snagged pole in the Trophy class.
Shane Smollen and Oscar Targett qualified fourth and sixth respectively.

Crazy old race.
Involved in the lap 1 crash, did a donut around a marshals post, turned a tyre into a 50 cent piece and somehow finished 14th. Good result considering our race, we’ll keep chipping away!
Today was a good day!
Double top 10 in qualifying then 8th and 11th in the races.
Happy with our car, see if we can squeeze some more out of it for the big day tomorrow 🧃
