Leaded windows made back in 2022 for the bar area of a Tudor home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. @reathdesign commissioned these windows from us, and they were the studio behind the interior refresh of the home.
The home renovation was featured in a recent Architectural Digest article, which you can find on the LinkTree in our Bio!

Installation of the barrel dome laylight at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City, MO is complete! This massive restoration took nearly two years, and at times involved every person in the studio. We’re honored to have been part of this monumental project, and to have had a hand in the preservation of historic stained glass.
Behind the scenes look at our restoration process! This is the first stage of restoration, what we call the “rubbing.” This is done so that once the window is taken apart, our glaziers will know how to put the window back together using the existing glass with brand new lead. One of several panels for a large scale restoration project for St. Luke’s Episcocal, Long Beach, CA.
Happy Preservation Month! And what better way to kick it off than a visit to a 129-year-old legacy business in Los Angeles ✨
Today, the Conservancy team had the honor of touring Judson Studios—the oldest family-owned-and-operated stained glass company in the United States. Located in the Garvanza district of L.A.’s Highland Park neighborhood, Judson Studios’ historic headquarters was declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument in 1969 and added to the the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.
David Judson, fifth-generation Judson family studio owner and president, gave us a peek behind the curtain at how his team is bringing the craft of glassmaking into the future with cutting-edge (literally) technology while continuing their traditional stained-glass fabrication and restoration projects that have brought them worldwide recognition for their quality and craftsmanship.
Thank you, @judsonstudios , for sharing your awe-inspiring studio and work with us—a true living legacy! 🌟
This new window was recently commissioned for a private residence in Baja California. Using opalescent, machine-made glass, including some very special “catspaw” glass to create texture for the leaves & foliage. Designed by @reedwestonbradley
Full restoration just completed at City Hall in Ventura, CA. This laylight, located in a community meeting room, was original to the building and stood for over 100 years before needing restoration. It was an impressive testament to the build quality by the original craftspeople.
