Enhance 2025: Where Materials Mean More
At Milan Design Week, Enhance 2025 by DesignWanted transformed a historic rubber factory into a hub of sustainable innovation. From bio-composites to self-bending wood, the exhibition showcased how materials can drive global change. Dive into the future of design where purpose and practicality unite.
Here are the list of exhibits that had our attention:
Pic 1 & 2: The exhibition space
Pic 3: Desideria, a totemic lamp by Milan based Debonademeo Studio made of red marble in a composite terrazzo composed of travertine, fragments of recycled glass and pigments in a non-toxic resin.
Pic 4: Trunk by Wah are lamps or ‘trunks’ clad with recyclable cork and tiles, the natural texture of which evokes the feel of a tree truck with cutouts along the body that glow with a soft, diffuse light.
Pic 5: Joshua Klappe’s Self-Bent Chair is an expressions of wood’s natural tendency to warp depending on its moisture content.
Pic 6: The Iceberg Collection by Home by Zeo is made from Zeoform Micro Pulp—a material crafted using just waste paper reinforced with industrial-strength hemp fibre and water.
Pic 7: Felicia Neuhof turns discarded seashells into furniture, lighting, and architectural materials through her venture Shellf Life.
Pic 8: Canopy by Bundle Studio is a stackable, lightweight mono-material stool by thermo-pressing flax fibres and PLA into rigid shells.

It’s a wrap! 💥
After 7 days meeting old and new friends, the exhibition curated x DesignWanted during the @fuorisalone@milan.design.week ended.
It was really nice to talk with you all, hear your feedbacks and hear that the selected exhibitors for this edition were happy about the result and exposure they were having.
It was also great to showcase products developed by talented people to help humans.
