And in those 300+ hours, I remembered:

When I was in Bali I was blessed to have a beautiful ceremony with @juangrey & I captured by @satmana.creative & below is a little story to go with it. I hope you enjoy this glimpse into Ceremonial Tattoo.

When we chose to get tattooed with intention & prayer, something deeper happens. Often this arises through the ceremony, whether it’s deeper emotions that surface, or a level of discomfort & pain we have not yet known, the tattoo takes us into a doorway where we access the medicine of what we are marking on the body. This of course became true in this session, when choosing to mark the body with a powerful mountain / volcano on the foot with the intention to walk forward with the power of the mountain. Mt Agung, the mountain Spirit of prayer & forward movement ~ revered as the spiritual axis of Mama Bali, a living altar where offerings, ancestors & fire meet. A reminder that each step is guided, anchored by devotion, resilience & the ancient force of the earth rising to meet us.
