Tightness is oppressive and tightness holds. — 9 may 2026 LEGS is a performance art relay. The relays are short performances that are performed one after the other without a break. SCORE LEGS was initiated and organised by artists in Montreal in February 2015, with the idea of passing this format on to other networks in a similar relay manner. Since then, LEGS has taken place in Switzerland in Zurich, Olten, Giswil, Basel and in Hégenheim, France. 1. LEGS lasts between 7 and 9 hours. 2. The total duration of the event (7 to 9 hours) is divided by the number of registered/participating artists, which determines the duration of each performance (for example, if 60 artists participate and the event lasts 8 hours, it would result in 8 minutes per performance). 3. The event takes place without interruption. A precise schedule is drawn up in which each artist is assigned a time slot. 4. There are no breaks, except when a time slot remains unused, i.e. the respective artist or group is not present. 5. Each artist or group is autonomous and responsible for setting up and cleaning up within their allocated time slot. 6. There is no technical or material support. Each artist or group brings their own material and takes it with them at the end. 7. LEGS has no budget. No fee is paid to the organiser, artist or groups. This has been decided by the founders. 8. We see and hear and show and feel each other. We are not in any role. Everything is simultaneous and transparent. It is a lifelong performance. We experience and show and do not explain. Productive work is competition-based. Reproductive work is collaboration-based. THERE IS NO PLAN B.

Three fictional voices were created through a compaction process of interviews with 13 M/others* that are creating art: Ona, Kalo and Gudrun. Their voice is heard. They will be asked. Their voice for many voices. M/others* Voice is an immersive audio installation. The soundtrack is composed modularly and consists of a text track and four overlapping musical loops of different lengths, which are constantly being recombined. In meiner Arbeit setze ich mich mit Geburt auseinander. Aus zwei Körper in einem werden zwei voneinander getrennte Körper. Ich konzentriere mich auf Teilobjekte, die zum Teil aufgerissen und wieder zusammengenäht werden. Irgendwo zwischen abschreckend und schön. CheckCheck: Insight into the artistic practice of Julia Meade (3.BA) @ju_meade Artist Statement: #PRIVAT #PUBLIC #REPRO GENDERING #MOTHER #PERFORMANCE #CONCEPT #PLAY FREE #SPIRIT “Mother” - a fine line between omnipotence and powerlessness. A phenomenon, a principle? My practice relates to the research of this topic - a sociopolitically complex concept with which I deal autobiographically and autotheoretically. My privilege is, among other things, to find an aesthetic language to express it in such a way that connectivity and recognition is generated. When taking away the curtain of separation, private becomes public. A manifestation of a person with children - it’s not to fit and melt together, but to be the unity that I am. Not to separate, but to maintain simultaneity. The problems and conflicts of the reproductive difference are fully carried out in private. I wish for laboratories, where a new language can be created. “Grüne Wiese” is a heterotopia I created, a real place, an effective place. An area where reorganization can be worked on without oppression. It symbolizes my recognition of a lie: the social construct of “mother”. And overcoming this lie is the reconstruction of “Mother” on the “Grüne Wiese”.
