parties, record shops, Tec-troit and the city of Detroit. While well versed in the fast and hard style of play, he’s unafraid to step out of the 4-4 mold into his own style.

Nix - Fabled Chicago Nightlife Lighting artist and rumored cousin of hipster Gollum (see last pic), he is bringing his signature lighting installations to life this evening!
Tips for taking care of yourself as you emerge from the dark cocoon of winter and prepare for the coming of warmer days:
1. As you wake, notice the light creeping through the cracks in the blinds or through the part in the curtain. Give thanks for the day.
2. Meditate. Picture a red-orange energy, pulsing. Let it gently fall through you and spread through your limbs: filling you with love and unfurling in your heart like a flower. Imagine it flowing back out of you to the people in your life, in your neighborhood.
3. When you leave the house, look to the sky above, diva! Though today or tomorrow the sky may give nothing - gray and cloudy - remember that spring lies before you.
4. If, throughout the day, you feel down: remind yourself that April showers upon you the promise of life. Prepare for the Bloom.
5. When you retire for the night, count your blessings in the leaves on the tree outside your window.
6. Finally, on April 3rd - from 11pm to late - come to Hidden Ideas and shake your pollen loose to music from Petal Supply, AVA, Folie, DJ GayBash!, and jess11.
