Two new Blotchouts releases plus a show announcement. Our split release with @death.envy has one long big band Blotchouts song titled “Melonballer” And the Brainfreeze release is two instant compositions made by Leila, Yanka and I. I played drums on the second track! It’s been a super busy first half of April. Really fun times.

"Eat This Biscvnt ya Little Runt" is an album of tape-recorded dadaist melodic songs created at home and on the LA riverbed, completed on our one year anniversary of being together (April 2, 2025). It is the first project where Joni & Yanka sing together at the same time, and all lyrics were written collaboratively. Even if you don't dig noise you might like this one!! You can find it at the leaky girls bandcamp. It's been a beautiful year in which we've played dozens of shows, toured, and put out 15 music releases (which you can find on the bandcamps of Leaky Girls, Wandering Wondering, Blotchouts, and Blotchoutings). @blotchouts and I celebrated our one year anniversary by going out to the LA river to write and record a song. It’s called “2nd Pink Moon” and it’s coming out asap on a new leaky girls album that was all recorded to tape. They’re mostly acoustic songs that we wrote the lyrics to and sang together. Bedroom pop style.
