I was a shoelace hustler. Sold these to Concepts and Alife and a few others before abandoning the project back in 2000. I tried Supreme but @peanut186 said no. Adin was originally called TEN BRAND NAME, before I adjusted the packaging and tried to build it outside of Montreal. 3 or so styles of laces, about two dozen colours, and the packaging was reusable. All good things. After nine years of good times, we’re looking for someone to take over the lease of our Chalet. Lake view, on a quiet lot, 5 minutes from @montowlshead and a 10 minute walk to lake access. DM me for details.
Tom Waits walked with me through the 4e arrondissement. He growled at the monied boutiques and bought black coffee for a man with the dog sitting curbside. Damp was the mood. We chatted poetry and poker and knives and shoelaces untied in the rain.
Connard. I yelled at the cabby who passed à haute vitesse. A local moment.
Wine at noon. Up in the air, the junior birdsman. The red baron at Le Baron Rouge.
So many happy people in a town that pretends to be unhappy. Running should defend itself against the 70’s. Velvet ropes and rooms with pianos. Runways. Steinway didn’t half step.

The Moc Toe. Commonly known as the Wallabee. I have so much love for this silhouette and its many variations, the Oxford, Lugger, Weaver, Slip-On, Boot, Natalie, Weaver Boot and although not technically a moc… the Wallabee Plain Toe. They all have a place.
This construction, this shoe, no matter who makes it (I see you Padmore and Barnes, WuWear, Ipath) it’s always a message and I’m always there for it.
