Alexa and Owen’s wedding was featured on Vogue a few weeks ago, so you’ve seen how beautiful it was — but I haven’t shared just how special this wedding was to me personally.
I deeply value every wedding I photograph, but when clients are open with their story and themselves, it always takes the photography and storytelling to another level.
This one stood out for exactly that reason. Alexa and Owen welcomed me into their journey with open arms from the very beginning. They have a very specific way of loving the people around them — with intentionality and kindness — and I was lucky enough to experience that firsthand. A small but perfect example: after their engagement session, they surprised me with an adorable outfit for Sully, his name and birthday hand-sewn right onto it.
Every element of their intimate wedding carried that same thoughtfulness, and it was clear each guest felt it too. The joy was completely overflowing — and what a privilege to bottle it all up in these images. @alexayarnell@owenhuelsbeck you two are the real deal. 🤍

A day late, but here we are. ✨
In my 14 years as a photographer, 2025 was the year I worked more than I ever have — essentially living with cameras strapped to my body and beautiful humans in front of my lens.
My photography community — my magical, wonderful girls — has made my life (and business) infinitely richer with their talent and love. We’ve laughed together, eaten dry chicken, sent each other referrals, and carried one another through the trenches of both work and life.
Every step has felt like the universe whispering, “Look, baby — I’ve got you.” Your dream clients. Your dream work. Your dream people. All right here, waiting.
I’m humbled and deeply grateful for every client and every industry friend who’s supported me along the way — because I get to live this big, beautiful life doing what I love.

Emily and Alex’s three-day Napa celebration was as gentle, thoughtful, and beautiful as they are.
They’re two of the most intentional, relational couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I don’t think I’ve ever been asked so many times by a couple if I was okay—or if I’d eaten. 🥹
A wedding is a whirlwind, and in many ways, a microcosm of a their larger story. It takes a very special couple to think of their vendors so often in the midst of it all. That kind of awareness gives you a glimpse into the love they pour into each other and everyone around them.
