Visiting the NSACAR R&D center this week made me giggle like a little kid. Sucks I couldn't take more photos (the Le Mans car was the only thing I was explicitly told "you can take photos if you want" and so I did). Being able to peek under the tarp for not only the engineering side but the race control room, the media team and their broadcasting studios really got me appreciate what it takes to run the series.
In preparation for the NASA 25 hour race at the Ozark Int'l Raceway this November, I reunited with team @nummi_racing for the @enduroeliteracing weekend at @shannonvillemotorsportpark to test and collect data on the car freshly rebuilt, updated by @mann.motorsport . This is the team that reminds me of why I fell in love with racing. Achieving greatness by practicing excellence is what this team demonstrates everytime they show up to the track.
Racing is tough. Endurance racing is tougher. It gets even worse on grassroots budget and resources. To continuously propel a team forward in this sport I found that it's very important to cut through the noise and distractions by keeping the culture pure and constructive. This is the team that gets it done.
There is so much talent, dedication and effort from every member of the team, and yet they are the most genuine and humble group of people who never forget, not even for one second, to have fun when they are racing and I'm proud to call them my friends.
Congratulations guys for the dominating weekend with 4 of the 5 races on podium and 2 wins. What a return!
Made it to @worldracingleague@sebringraceway ! Going through tech at the moment.. really cool to see bigger teams testing on this historic track leading up to the weekend. Bucket list checked.
That's a wrap. What a season this was. Witnessing @cc__motorsports ' hard work paying off in stronger performance race after race was a real treat and joy. Two P2 finishes and the team's first double podium to top off the final race weekend of the season at @ctmpofficial . Great drive by @connerjaneteas.44 and @colejaneteas . It's a moment to celebrate.
Not much of social media guy but this weekend's performance by @connerjaneteas.44 and @colejaneteas was exceptional. We still have much to catch up to the top guns but being able to showcase our steady progress inching closer to podium finish in such competitive series made me very proud of the team.
They're here. Getting ready to smash my PBs with the new VR08GP 200TW tyres from @valinotirescanada freshly mounted by Jon @akiitire . These will be a very strong competitor to the CR1 and perhaps the yoko 052? Review coming up after the first track day.
