It’s absolutely outrageous that marital status currently trumps DNA when it comes to registering your child following the death of one of their parents.
Working with the amazing charity WAY Widowed And Young, MP Jen Craft will bring this to debate in the House of Commons TOMORROW. A small but might step in the right direction for our #blankspace campaign.
Whether it’s tomorrow, next week or next decade we will see this through so no other widowed parent has to be dragged though the ringer by our archaic system at the worst possible time of their life.

How far would you walk/run for a pint of Guinness? @drew.stead and @jonstead9_coach have just finished their phenominal challenge, walking & running coast to coast, 192 miles over 5 days.
The lengths that people will go to raise money for Jordan’s charity really is special; a small charity with a big heart. All of us at @jsftrust are extremely proud of you both.
As a charity we are constantly inundated with grants which means every penny raised will give another young person the chance to flourish through sport. If you are able to donate to Drew and Jon’s fundraiser the link is in the bio.
So we did it!! 192 miles coast to coast in under 5 days. Moving time of 57 hours 30 mins 😱 and you can add 28,500ft of climbs (pretty much cruising altitude for planes!) this has been one hell of a test! No way to fully explain what we have been through. Love you Sin 🙏🏼
