Quick trip home but made the most of it. Met my brother’s new dog, Wags, who I love and exclusively speak to in Spanish (gotta teach em early!). Finally met my super talented cousin @lizitto . Made it to a my niece’s lacrosse game and nephew’s baseball game (no surprise they’re both great!). And then flew to Florida for a couple days to visit my Uncle Shubh and Aunt Joan who I love dearly.
Very proud to inaugurate our new pop up experience for the @fifaworldcup in Mexico’s most premium shopping destination @elpalaciodehierro . It’s an incredible space where you can personalize our limited edition bottles and of course enjoy a great cocktail while watching your favorite team. I really love that we did this in partnership with @adidasmx@hisensemex , coming together to create a truly unique experience. Qué experiencia tan increíble y transformadora. Mi hermana tuvo razón: nunca iba a ser perfecto. Pero las lecciones aprendidas, el crecimiento, las amistades y la diversión… no lo cambiaría por nada del mundo.

For my fellow gringos, pretty much I say that I love Mexico and the experience of living here, I’m proud of the innovations we’ve launched and the learnings we’ve gained, I’m not as cool anymore so I need to listen to GenZ more, I’m getting (slightly) better at saying no vs yes to everything, and life - like innovation - gets better when you don’t let fear stop you and when you believe more in yourself and the people around you 💪🏼
Ready for more! And I promise to keep improving my Spanish and have better posture, Dad 😂
Our interim CEO came to Mexico, the team crushed (lo rompieron en español!), we celebrated, and I broke the piñata (really the team just let me ceremoniously break it 😂 ). So great to be gaining momentum and having fun! Let’s gooooooo 👏🏼🇲🇽
“Los ángeles que nos cuidan / The angels that protect us” by @evavale
I met Eva two years ago just a couple months after I arrived to Mexico. I didn’t realize it then, but it happened to be the 20th anniversary of my mom’s passing (see the last photo). I knew I had met someone special, but now I’m sure my mom was looking out for me. Since then, Eva & Lucila have become family and this piece is even more special because I know how much of both of them is etched into every detail and every word.
It was inspired by the Angel of Independence that protects our beautiful city and by all the angels that I’m so lucky to have or have had in my life. They are represented in many special ways, including the message on the bottom right, “My ashirvad with you,” which was a blessing my Indian grandmother said to me each time I saw her.
I haven’t come close to seeing all the hidden elements, but I look forward to being surprised for years to come. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Los quiero mucho.

Conocí a Eva hace dos años, apenas un par de meses después de haber llegado a México. No lo sabía en ese momento, pero coincidió con el vigésimo aniversario del fallecimiento de mi mamá. Sabía que había conocido a alguien especial, pero ahora estoy seguro de que mi mamá estaba cuidándome. Desde entonces, Eva y Lucila se han convertido en familia, y esta obra es aún más especial porque sé cuánto de ambas está grabado en cada detalle y en cada palabra.
La pieza se inspiró en el Ángel de la Independencia que protege nuestra hermosa ciudad y en todos los ángeles que tengo o he tenido en mi vida. Están representados de muchas maneras especiales, incluyendo el mensaje en la esquina inferior derecha: “My ashirvad with you,” una bendición que mi abuela de la India me decía cada vez que la veía.
Aún no he descubierto todos los elementos ocultos, pero espero seguir sorprendiéndome durante muchos años. Gracias de todo corazón. Los quiero mucho.
