View the work of J Schatz as part of our NYCxDESIGN exhibition. Curated by Michele, a Detroit native, this event reflects a long-standing commitment to supporting Detroit’s makers. Inspired by the city’s legacy of manufacturing and its ever-evolving creative community, Michele has consistently championed artists who embody that spirit of craftsmanship and innovation. We are proud to celebrate Detroit’s local talent and showcase their works to a NY audience.
Visit our Brooklyn Shop, May 14th through 20th to view Schatz’s work, alongside the work of seven additional Detroit artists, and in tandem with Michele’s new “Fantasy Still Life” paintings, inspired by the work of these ceramicists.

We’re opening the doors for an evening with Ian Stallings, hosted alongside ASID Michigan and Cambria. Ian will present at 4:00, followed by refreshments and conversation with our resident artists until 6.
Expect an open dialogue around ceramics, sculpture, and the intersection of wood and clay — sculptural, tactile, and anything but ordinary.
