Camera 2 Test | “Falling Paper”
I often find myself wondering what different fps’s “feel like” when played back at 24fps, especially when I consider how I want a scene to feel like in slow motion. For this test, I started with a control at 24fps, and subsequently shot the same scene again at 60fps and 120fps. I chose these frame rates because they will most frequently be options I have just a button click away on most digital cameras without having to shoot in a lower resolution.
This was also a useful exercise in calculating and compensating the exposure changes on the camera-side when going up and down in framerates. I compd’ by removing/adding ND and dialing in the aperture a half a stop or so to retain consistency

I’m 20!
