I’m still trying to wrap my head around last nights @tenilletownes performance with the @calgaryphil . There were tears, there was joy, there is awe of an artist who is such an inspirational insightful songwriter. And most of all it’s pride in knowing she’s an even better person. Tenille is with the Orchestra again tomorrow night at Jack Singer, GO if you can. If you can’t, give a listen to her new album “The Acrobat”, trust me, it’s like being in her living room. A HUGE congratulations to @a.j.kellercfcw who has just been named the new Program Director @840cfcw . So deserved! I hired A.J. 15 years ago….I was still in my 40’s (barely 🤣🤣). A.J. gets why the legendary CFCW is still so relevant today. Community, charity, country music and support of Alberta and Canadian artists. Congrats buddy, you are the perfect choice!
Sitting relaxing after a fun weekend! Started it off Friday night @rivercreeresort for the Toast of the Town fundraiser for the @curecancerfoundationca . A great night toasting and roasting @tmjo3 and in the process well over $600,000 was raised, incredible!!!! I actually should have got pictures with the real Barry Stafford and Terry O’Flynn, but I forgot!!!! And then sitting on the patio (finally) @endeavourbrewing was awesome after checking out the @stalbertchamber Trade Show. Cheers to great weather!
Resilience. Heart. Positive attitude. We tried to bring that and more to @gpcurlingcentre for the @pomeroyhotels Canadian Masters Curling Championship this past week cuz we know that’s exactly what our Skipper @debbielsantos has brought to the table these past few months. A huge thank you to @sorsini8@curlergal for filling her curling shoes this season, you were awesome taking on these crazy orphans. A silver medal is not too dang bad at all.
