Last week, I experienced something truly special at the Gang Gang Art Gallery exhibition.
One artwork stopped me in my tracks. It didn’t just catch my eye—it took me back. Back to being a child, running through my parents’ yard, carefree and full of wonder. I found myself overwhelmed with emotion, still processing it all long after I got home.
God works in ways we don’t always understand. That moment brought a kind of healing I didn’t expect—touching parts of my childhood I hadn’t revisited in years. The piece featured a simple key… the kind we used growing up. Small, ordinary to some—but to me, it held a whole world of memories.
It might not make sense to everyone, but when you grow up with little, it’s the smallest things that carry the deepest joy. Looking back now, I’m just grateful—for growth, for healing, and for the blessings that brought me here.
Thank you @taniasmallartist for creating and sharing something so powerful. And thank you @gangganggallery for bringing together such incredible talent.
Started with nothing but an idea… and way too much confidence.
Now it’s early mornings, late nights, and explaining to people why “it’s more than just coffee” 😂
