Hace diez años hicimos el primero en América latina.
La CDMX y GDL lo vieron nacer y crecer, pero también se ha celebrado en Cajeme, en San Miguel Allende. Es un festival para todo México, para todo el mundo.
Porque nació para conectarnos. Para escucharnos. Para que celebremos en comunidad las búsquedas que nos apasionan. Nació para unirnos.
En esta edición celebramos diez años, 19 países, miles de kilómetros, cientos de días de trabajo, más de 150 artistas. Celebramos que nos vemos, nos abrazamos, nos nombramos con cariño. Que tenemos, desde hace diez años, la oportunidad de ofrecer nuestra ciudad como una casa, nuestra música como un regalo, nuestras voces como un puente.

At nyumusictech, I had the incredible honor of working with the godfather of west coast synthesis, Mort Subotnick, and working on his Buchla system. He spent a few years working on this film project, @subotnickfilm and the Mexico premiere is happening next month, in Guadalajara, the city I call home. Combine that with the fact that it coincides with the first-time visit of #Mexsynthco to Guadalajara, including workshops, chats, and synth jams, also being supported/sponsored by the GDL synth maker, @bocumasynths , and held in the amazing cultural space, @cinemayahuel Synth-heads, and electronic musicians nearby(or not)—DO NOT miss it! We had an amazing production day yesterday with the professors of Tecnológico de Monterrey from 8 campuses across México. Stay tuned for 5 bands recorded by 30 Professors on the same day in the stunning Regional Museum in the heart of the city. Endless thanks to everyone who poured their heart and soul into this CADi: Cursos de Actualización en las Disciplinas - “Refresher Courses in the Disciplines” - where Professors immerse themselves in a subject to inspire the next generation of audio professionals.
