Visit to Tonga Police Band College! 🎶
JP Musical Instruments’ managing director, Rob Hanson, recently visited Tonga Police Band College to see some wonderful music making in action. He even picked up a tenor horn and joined in!
Rob was delighted to hand over a JP332S Rath trombone to the police band, in conjunction with Brass Direct, New Zealand, and @TaylormadeMusicAustralia .

John Packer Musical Instruments, one of the UK’s largest specialist brass and woodwind retailers and manufacturers, has announced the acquisition of Richard Smith Musical Instruments – the company behind the famous Smith-Watkins brand.
Smith-Watkins instruments will continue to be manufactured at their facility near York. Alongside Rath Trombones in Yorkshire and Taylor Trumpets in Norfolk, the acquisition further strengthens UK brass instrument manufacturing.
