Swim back in time ✔️ Bucket list trip, trip of a lifetime, a long way to go for a swim. Whatever you want to call it, it was amazing. Getting to do it with my favorite person, partner in crime and A-plus human wrangler was incredible. (You’re the best @jmurirose .) Add in a top tier travel buddy (highest compliment) aka half and half, plus some last minute British comedic relief and I still can’t stop smiling and laughing when I think about it. So @andreaunwin1982 what sort of madness are we committing to next?

There is a massive hole in our hearts.
We said goodbye to Kallie today unexpectedly, nearly 16 years to the day since we brought her and her floppy eared head tilt home. She was with us from the beginning of us being us, moving in together, grad school, career changes, buying our home, getting engaged and married, starting a business. We have barely a memory together that doesn’t include her in some way, endless photos and videos and “look at the dog!” moments.
Kallie was made of 100% love for her people and love for food, begging her way (politely) into anything remotely edible. She was all snortles and quitting on hot walks, snuggles in the slot in colder weather, sausage rolling and sausage failing into her old age, our little terrorist, potato, nugget, sausage and pork pie in one. To know her was most certainly to love her. We are grateful for all of the friends and family who have loved her over the years. And we are forever grateful to have had 16 wonderful years with such a special little Sausage.
