Last fall, 80+ community members came together to bring the All Bike(r)s Welcome mural to life at the 3rd street tunnel and Coler Preserve in Bentonville—a joyful public art piece that promotes inclusivity and belonging in cycling 🫶🏻
We’re grateful for an amazing first e-Mobility day.✌️It’s been great to share the stoke about ebikes with so many.
Thank you to everyone who supported the event. And a big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday! 🙌

Today’s sold out @cnu_newurbanism bike tour was such a great reminder of how special Bentonville has become.
Had an absolute blast co-hosting alongside the incredible team at @playbentonville and getting to show visitors from around the country our parks, trails, greenways, sidepaths, public spaces, and the connections that are helping shape a more people-focused city.
From the Razorback Greenway to neighborhood trail connections, protected bike infrastructure, and our growing network of parks, it was exciting to share not just where Bentonville is today, but where we’re headed.
Huge thanks to everyone who joined us, asked thoughtful questions, and spent the afternoon exploring the city by bike. And an extra thank you to the Bentonville Parks team for being such incredible partners in this work.
Most people think infrastructure alone keeps you safe.
It doesn’t. Awareness does. Predictability does.
Understanding how the system is designed to work does.
Crosswalks don’t stop cars. Drivers do.
Bike boxes aren’t shortcuts around traffic.
“No Right Turn on Red” signs aren’t suggestions.
The truth is, a lot of conflict on our streets comes from confusion, hesitation, and misuse — not bad intent.
That’s why education matters just as much as infrastructure.
Really excited to be part of this upcoming Active Commuter Academy and help break down some of the most common misconceptions we see on our streets every day.
Infrastructure only works when everyone understands how to use it correctly.

Motherhood is weird. One minute you’re sweating in flip flops trying to steer a tricycle straight and the next minute they’re teenagers with opinions, social lives, and cars.
The little kid years were exhausting and magical. The teenage years are bittersweet, hilarious, and beautiful too.
I’ve loved every stage of mothering you two. ❤️

Happy Mother’s Day to the woman who taught me how to wander slowly through the world and actually notice it.
Some of my favorite memories with you are our hikes where we stop every few feet because you heard a bird call, spotted a new plant, or found an interesting rock that absolutely had to come home with us. You’ve always moved through nature with so much curiosity and wonder, and I think that’s one of the greatest gifts you gave me.
You taught me that adventure doesn’t have to be big or expensive. Sometimes it’s just digging through an antique shop for hidden treasures, laughing at ourselves until we snort, or getting completely sidetracked because something beautiful caught our attention.
Being your daughter has made my life richer and softer.
I love you so much, Mom. Happy Mother’s Day 💚
Last week was Bike to School Week, and it’s honestly one of my favorites! 💛
There’s just something about seeing this many bikes lined up…knowing each one carried a kid to school, powered by their own two legs. Movement before the bell is the best kind of movement! 👏🏻
And somehow, even after winning extra bike racks a few years ago for having the most riders…we still run out of space! 😅
It’s more than just getting to school.
It’s independence. It’s community. It’s the Bentonville way! 🚲😊
Thank you to all the PTO’s, volunteers and parents that help make this happen at schools all over! I think it’s clear the kiddos love it! 💛 @bentonvillebiketrain
Big shout out to @belaeykenny@arkansasmoves@jpearson479@bret.mccormick for showing up and being part of it!
“We’re not in your way, we’re on the way!” 😊

@oztrailsnwa where rumors become reality ✨
Got a sneak peek of @oztrailsbikepark this afternoon and it’s easy to see the impact this will have.
What stood out most, this place isn’t just for one type of rider. It’s intentionally built for everyone, beginner through advanced, with free hiking access that keeps it open and welcoming.
And this part matters, two adaptive lifts are being added, and anyone supporting an adaptive rider rides free. That’s how you actually build something inclusive.
Appreciate @garyk.vernon and the @bentonville.town.tour for the preview 👀
Today we ran through our upcoming CNU Bike Tour, and standing here with this group, it’s hard not to feel proud.
This is what it takes. City leadership, advocacy organizations, and community members all aligned around a shared vision.
The projects we’ll showcase matter, but the people behind them matter even more.
Bike to School Week, you were something special.
Every single bike train brought joy, energy, and a reminder of what’s possible, but today will always be my favorite.
Watching the Apple Glen kiddos roll out with a full police escort across 49, something that would normally feel impossible, was powerful. Not just because it was fun, it was, but because it showed what it takes right now to make something like this safe.
Here’s the truth. Infrastructure like this doesn’t happen overnight. It takes time, a lot of time. Planning, funding, coordination, persistence.
But moments like today give us a glimpse of the future.
A future where kids don’t need an escort to cross a major corridor.
A future where families feel safe choosing to bike to school.
A future where this just feels normal.
That’s what we’re building toward.
Until then, we keep showing up. We keep riding. We keep creating these moments that prove it’s worth it.
Because when it’s safe, even relatively safe, kids show us exactly what’s possible.
And that’s something worth investing in!
