Iām by no means a master at anything, but Iām learning everyday and absorbing knowledge from everyone around me. But one thing you can definitely always count on is me getting after it day after day ā with a smile and laugh that says āIām just happy to be here.ā
AND I owe it all to the Filipino heritage, my family and the culture I was raised in. Iām a proud immigrant or first gen (whatever you want to call it) and reflecting on this Filipino-American History Month reminds me of all of the amazing, badass, and resilient Filipinos that have sacrificed allowing for myself and this generation to have the opportunities weāve had to take our people farther. Itās motivation to keep breaking sterotypes, the molds that colonization placed us in and make our ancestors proud.
Happy #filipinoamericanhistorymonth and mabuhay to all my kinfolk! šµš

Thereās a new sound reclaiming the hills of the west coast belonging to the hooves of a grey named Earl Mitchell.
Spent the weekend honoring that ancient connection between man and horse, tracing some lines that history often forgets.
Congrats to my brother @marcusemitchell on the newest addition to the family!

Happy Lunar New Year! And cheers to the year of the Fire Horse. Sending love, prosperity and energy to all my loved ones and especially to all those who look to the horse for joy and good medicineāfrom the east coast, to the Great Plains and all throughout the west
An immigrant from the Philippines through and through, but guided by my kinfolk raised in the lands I live in now. Reflecting latelyāon everything Iām thankful for.
