Part 1 of a system upgrade on this Toyota Tundra. We pulled the doors and floor panels and treated the whole cabin with @soundshield before any speakers went in, so the new front stage actually has a quiet cabin to work in. Front is a @hertz_audio_official Cento CPK-690 6x9 component set with Mille Pro MP 70.3 mids on top, and the rear doors got Mille Pro MPX 165.3 coaxials. Amp rack is next.

The Grand National build, start to finish. Front stage is a set of @focalamerica Ligne Mistral 136 KX components with @alpineusa S2-S69 rear fill, tuned through an @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini and fed by a @pioneercaraudio AVH-3500NEX. Power comes from a @garmin_audio XDM800/8 and a RD1500/1 mono driving three 10TW3-D4 subs, with the RBC-1 bass remote up front.

Sound system upgrade in a Subaru Crosstrek. Front stage is an @audison_official APK165 component set with APX6.5 mids in the rear, all powered by a @garmin_audio XDM1000/5. Bass comes from a 10TW3-D8 in a custom down-firing enclosure to keep the cargo area usable, and the whole system is tuned through an @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini with a RBC-1 remote so the customer can dial in output on the fly.

Every component in this build was hand-picked for how it sounds, not just how it looks. @focalamerica BMW ES 100 K up front, factory 8” mid-bass under the seats, 4” rear fill, and a One Audio IB3 18” infinite baffle riding a @zapco_official Z3K 3000/1 all tuned through an @audiotecfischer Helix DSP Ultra. Sound quality was the priority here, and you can hear it in the playback.

“Wire rescue” on a clean white OBS. components were already in the truck, but the wiring needed help. We ran new 0ga OFC power from a fresh kit, redid the signal and ground runs, and brought everything up to spec. Front stage is now a set of @alpineusa R2-S69C 6x9 components running off a @garmin_audio XD600/6v2. Same idea, just done right and built to last.

Full custom build in a 2021 BMW 430i, designed entirely around the customer’s vision and built around sound quality. @focalamerica BMW ES 100 K Kevlar components up front, factory 8” mid-bass under the seats, 4” rear fill on the package tray, and a One Audio IB3 18” free-air sub in the trunk. Everything is run off a @zapco_official Z3K 3000/1 and tuned through an @audiotecfischer Helix DSP Ultra. Finished with a custom laser-cut acrylic panel, LED accent lighting, and a removable trunk panel wrapped to match.

This green Monte Carlo came back in for a subwoofer enclosure upgrade after running a single 10” for a while. Rather than modify what was already there, we pulled the box and rebuilt it from scratch to fit two @garmin_audio 10TW3-D4 subs in the same footprint. Same trunk space, twice the output, and a cleaner finish than what was in there before.

Part 2 of the Grand National build. Part 1 covered the sound treatment, speakers, and enclosure, and this one gets into the amp rack housing the @garmin_audio XDM800/8, RD1500/1 mono amp and @audiotecfischer Helix DSP mini. Everything was mounted and wired to stay clean and actually be serviceable down the road, and if you have been following along since the demo this is what was powering all of it.
