impossible to put the last 6 years into words. scoring at SECs and making it to NCAAs my freshman year to have it transpire into 6 stress fractures and medical retirement in the end was a heartbreak I never could have been prepared for. but, as I work on surrendering to God every single day and finding my love for running again, I have faith that one day I will look back and say I wouldn’t change a thing. all I can really say is thank you. to my coaches who believed in me way more than I ever believed in myself. to my athletic trainers that held me together as we fought in the trenches. to both for never giving up on me. and everyone else in between that took a girl from MA and changed her life. wearing those three letters across my chest was the greatest honor; a dream I’ve had since I sat in the stands of Death Valley at 4 years old. forever indebted, forever LSU.
now, i’m coming home to you @patriots ❤️
