"l create functional ceramics using translucent porcelain and stoneware for both electric and atmospheric firing. Most of my work involves detailed illustrations, outlining using Mishima techniques and underglaze pencils. All images are created spontaneously with what comes to my mind as I begin to illustrate. They're then meticulously hand painted with underglaze and glaze, gold luster and mother of pearl, going through 4 separate firings until each piece is ready for a new home. It's a long process which requires time and patience but I enjoy each and every step of it. As much love, joy and happiness I pour into my work, I hope what I create brings the same to many others."

Getting ready for the @ceramicshowcase in April. This is one of the forms I have made a while ago when I did atmospheric firings with my friends. Finally got to work on it again with porcelain with colors. Can’t wait to share with you when it’s all finished with luster. 🌺🌸🦜🍃✨

* I’ve been having some shoulder and elbow issues and wasn’t able to make any work since mid October. Hopefully physical therapy that I’m getting will get me through it and get back to clay life soon.
