EAT, PRAY, LIE on Lifetime ✨
Earlier this year, I booked this project on my own, not knowing much beyond the script - just that the cast and crew were lovely, the production ran seamlessly, and the film location was beautiful 🏘️ Found out yesterday it premiered on TV at 8/7c on Lifetime 📺 Surprise haha
Biggest secret I’ve kept so far (until now)! I voice VIP Jennifer/제니퍼 in Squid Game Season 3 (Korean original audio)! 💗
First NETFLIX project. First big voiceover. A literal dream show! 🎙️😍
What a surreal experience - from not knowing what project I booked until I got to the studio, to the out-of-body experience finding out that it was Squid Game S3 to working with the Netflix Senior Dubbing Language Production Manager and the original Korean team ✨
Sometimes, the universe has impeccable timing. A few weeks into starting a full-time job and worried I had to pivot away from acting, I received this audition. With a 2-hour turnaround, I was literally running between restrooms on different floors in my office to find a quiet area to record, with only my phone and the script written on a post-it note. Cut to my meeting with John DeMita, where I found out that despite my audition sounding like it was recorded “in a car,” I was his top choice (thank goodness he found my reel to also show the team)! Thank you so much for taking a chance on me and for guiding me through my first major voiceover project 🥹
Bonus moments:
- finding out the Squid Game director’s lawyer played a VIP and getting to watch his ADR session with the team in the control room to learn the dubbing flow
- team texting the director Hwang Dong-hyuk who was in town for S2 promos, saying he might pop by the session (so close!)

2025 ~ falling in love again with life ❤️💫
End of 2024, I started a full time corporate job, unsure what 2025 would entail but with the promise to myself that it would not come at the cost of doing what I love. This year, I got to fly to Japan for a film 🎞️, tell the world I voice one of the VIPs in Squid Game 🎙️, film a Lifetime movie 🎬, have a project released on Hulu 🎥, shoot commercials for FatBurger, Microsoft, FunkoPop, Toyota, Civilization (& play a life action Mulan 🗡️), be in my very first Disney parade🐉, and attended the Golden Globes 🌟.
But I also found beauty in other areas of life - I found my people, reconnected with music and performed dizi on stage again, traveled to Taiwan, amongst many more adventures that taught me to celebrate the journey and the moments in between. Cheers to 2025! 🎉💫❤️
Shooting a film in Japan ~ truly a dream come true ☃️🎞️✨
Two of my biggest wishes this year was to travel for an acting gig and to go to Japan. Still in awe that both came true at the same time and all within the last month of 2025!
A snowy Sapporo in December was truly the perfect winter wonderland experience ❄️ Some of my favorite non-spoiler moments:
🤍After a night shoot, we stumbled upon the famous Ganso Sapporo Ramen Street and let me tell you…the way ramen hits after a long evening shooting in the snow 🤤~ best ramen I’ve ever had!
🩵First time trying soup curry - soooo good!!
🤍 Celebrated our wrap at an Izakaya as a treat from the Japan based crew ~ we feasted 😋 and had a bittersweet send off with the hopes to see each other again someday ❤️
🩵I finally own a trenchcoat now as one of the souvenirs I got to keep from set 🧥
And what are the odds of experiencing 2 earthquakes - a 7.5 earthquake on arrival day and a 6.9 on departure day at the airport! The way I ran down the emergency stairs that first night, running with my flip flops in the snow, and when I got to the lobby, the crew all said “Welcome to Japan” 😂
This experience gave me memories I will forever smile about 🎥❄️🇯🇵🫶🏼 A reminder that dreams really can come true ❤️ Hope to come back again someday!!!
