Day 1/30. In yoga, cues are everything. They allow you to explore your practice without being distracted by what others are doing, or looking around for confirmation. You either know the flow, know the teacher, know the asana, or you follow the cue. You show up to your mat, someone else’s mat, or greet the ground. I took a hot class this morning and was so, so confused about a lot of transitions, not understanding the choices of sequences. It didn’t feel right nor did the verbal guides help. I should lead with compassion but it made me cranky. But, it reminded me of what I want most right now. What I am craving with my entire fucking body, my being, and my heart. Consistency. I am deeply creative and I create newness without effort. Newness is actually the constant in my life. This cranky hot yogi wants consistency in her cues. This is a metaphor. This deck of 52 cards is about having a frameworks for consistency that is free, engaging, and deeply personal. Today’s cards were: 1. Ask a good question: I always stop scrolling for a question I wish I’d asked. 2. “Gym” Hack: I always love a quicker, better, newer way to do a workout, and I feel grateful for a new way to do something familiar. Reframing the story I want to tell with this in mind, is helpful. 3. Make em laugh: Funny people make the world lighter, my own algo is filled with physical comedy and stand-up. 4. Show off your body: I always wondered if showing off my abs would get me more followers. Today’s was heavier and more complicated than usual because I had to explain what I’m doing. I had to get the CUES down. I think I did that—let me know where I could have been clearer. I’m so open to knowing when I should simplify. I know SO many gifted people who are frozen in the stillness of anxiousness. Brilliant minds who think about what if, rather than commit to what is. Join me? #30days #30daychallenges #day1 Question of the Day is: DO You ever feel completely overwhelmed by all of the ways there are to tell a story?

Is every human being an artist or is it not that simple? On last week’s podcast I spoke with Quantum Hypnotist, Mario Radinger @the.soul.journeys about the complexity and simplicity of knowing one’s purpose, it turns out, there are many kinds of focus’ and it’s his great pleasure, and skill set, to help you connect with yours. Reflecting on this recent conversation, there are so many questions I would have asked. Especially regarding the intuitive nudges he gets just in talking with people, long before he goes into a session with them to connect with their Higher Self. I feel that everyone is full of art, but yet, the need and the longing to create it, or to unravel it and define it for yourself might not be everyone’s quest. But, the need to express and define, and at times, purge, seems deeply to be mine. #metaphor #higherSelf #creativelife

Day 3/30 of a consistency hack for creative people: Today’s cue card said “Draw a Character into the space” I decided to use a character I already had. Someone who’s been waiting to see the light of day. Or rather, the light of the moon. She’s got hard moon energy. I felt her crystal ball energy would be symbolic of the foresight that was involved the first week into the new studio space. Not really though—she just had nice contrast to overlay on 10 seconds of video. #30daychallenge #illustrator #procreate

Day 12 of 30? I just can’t be mad or sad or disappointed in missing some days. I lost the track of time because I’m having such a good time. All of forgiven. I like this pace! It makes me feel good. I’m making art. In my studio. Telling stories, pulling cards. Today’s card was to dance. Sometimes it’s that simple. #dance #30daychallenge

Day 11/30: Creative Consistency Hack. Don’t check the dates on these mkay? Today’s card was “Do Athletic Shit”. Whenever I’m scrolling I always stop to check out a new workout, something that makes me want to get up and move.I also love a good gym fit. Today’s reel is inspired by a former version of me who took SO many Jump Shots. (I implore you to scroll around and find out) It was one of my favorite ways to show up, show off what I was wearing, show off the view, and show off my editing. In fact. I think it was just about giving myself permission to show off. @prequelapp #workout #30daychallenges #photography What have you shown off lately?

If you’re building a personal brand, a small business brand, or any kind of public identity, this conversation is your reminder that the real work is visible in your actions. In the world of purchasing power, money matters, but Mo calls it what it really is: a resource for busy people, an efficient shortcut when time and energy are limited. She explores bartering, community support, and the underrated power of kindness, connection, and a real network. Mo also looks at the places and brands that are beautiful on the surface but feel off, versus the ones that last because they do what they say they’ll do. @applepodcasts @spotifypodcasts @buzzsprout #branddesign #brandidentity #podcastclip

Part 2: Day 9/30: Beauty is this profound and unique experience. Yet, we try to buy it, or freeze it, or encapsulate it, and even define it. We want to keep it. But beauty is a feeling far more than it is a look. Mother’s, and every fucking woman I know, is so deeply beautiful because of the reflective nature of her being. She is a mirror for the ever expanding and contradicting nature of love balancing with life. My mom taught me how to be creative, the most divinely feminine teaching… and my grandmother’s taught me how to coordinate and orchestrate that creativity, and my Aunt’s taught me how to embody my creativity — that there are so many rooms I can show up in and still be me, but seen so differently. I really feel that beauty isn’t to be held, it’s to be felt, and it is robust. It can be sharp, and soft, and cruel, and innocent, and lovely, and broken, and inspiring, and lost. Beauty is a shapeshifter and I’ve never met a mother who wasn’t constantly contorting and adjusting and becoming. Mother’s are everything, and I’m really grateful for the mother’s in my life.

Day 8/30: Today’s Card Pull was “show your process” And I took some liberty because EVERYTHING is a process. This wall will be a few iterations in before I find a system that is versatile, and has a few doses of explorative craftsmanship. I’m not a master builder—yet. But I do have heart, drive, and an imaginative mind. C-Clamps for now, but next up is a giant easel-wall. Or something like that. Any builders out there with some ideas? #process #diybuild #artiststudio

Part 1: Day 7/30 of my 30 day creative consistency challenge. Today’s card pull, from my 52 deck of cues was “Pretty Face”. I wrote this one down really noting how much in my own scrolling I’ll stop to pay attention to someone with pretty eyes, or a distracting smile. Or whatever. You know. Cause my dopamine destruction is shallow. But, I really wanted to show some artwork, and this is some iteration of the 30 stories I’ve written down to tell this month. About this art: I’ve been deep in the process of setting up the studio that I haven’t really created any new art in the last few weeks and I didn’t want to pull from the archive. I wanted to make something kickass, with a 20 minute time frame.I did not accomplish that. But I did reframe the cue’s “pretty face” to reflect on the process of creating. I’m very good at faces. But, this new exploration with this particular mixed-media art style, is asking me to try something different, and I just don’t love it yet. I haven’t found the expression, or the limitation, to make the face something that compels me to finish. #studio #process #portraitart

Day 6/30. What does the saying, “you have everything you need” mean to you? I put this up on my studio wall to remind me that when I think in obstacles, I get obstacles. I must open myself to the present moment. It’s grounding, frustrating, obnoxious, and relevant. I am here, and so are the things that get me there. Thank you @luminousunraveling @kristopherjamesmusic @vgross5 @vincemcguinness @mary.inmotion for sharing some beautiful insight and for being in my world. What does “I have everything I need” it mean to you?

Day 5/30. I pulled the “This message is for you card” today. This is one of those cues, hooks, that will definitely grab my attention, but I only stay when it feels right. It’s actually pretty in line with how I feel when I’m building something I haven’t built before. Sometimes you’re just driven by the functionality in your mind, and you’re almost possessed with the right actions. But other times, it just hurts my brain. I don’t know the right tools, and that’s usually when I learn about all of the little gadgets, extensions, bits, and harbor freight errands. I know it’s only day 5 of 30 days of creative hacking with this 52 deck of cards of mine—but I’m feeling so good about the process of it. It is this little experience that is actually pretty grounding. Rather than letting it get too heavy, I’m practicing instead how to surrender. Allowing the story to tell itself. I’m just a conduit it seems. A very entertaining conduit. #30daychallenge #thismessageisforyou #studio

Day 4/30: Creative Storytelling Hack The card I pulled to continue on my 30 day creative consistency hack was: “Tell a Love Story”. Nothing makes me stop scrolling like the promise of a good love story, or a glimpse at real romance, or the real-real love. The fixer-uppers. I decided today would be a good day to review, with deep gratitude, the love, consistency, and healthy masculinity that got me to this point. Just good men, trying their best to lend a hand, some sweat, and at the least, emotional support. Special shout out to my dad, my brother @joystiqjigglin my friend @joseph.witowsky with endless enthusiasm and experience, and @john_mahstay with the towing and the tools! all of whom I am immensely grateful for. More updates and process shots to come. :) #toyhauler #vanlife #beforeandafter
