With the start of 2026, I’m excited to release this brand new track, “The Only Thing.” This song is a bit outside of the normal genres you might associate with Dazae, but this is the year I continue to grow my sound with the influences I resonate with most today.
There was a pretty long hiatus from my full length album until now, but along with this release, I have another 4 songs in the works I’m pretty amped about coming soon.

Week 6: Negatives
When we look at the negatives of a photograph the lights and darks are inverted, skewing our perspective of good & bad. Going through difficult times makes it hard to find the light. This song is a love letter, a reminder that you have to allow things time to develop in order to see in full color. Life is in constant development, take your time.
