All these God did for me and many that I couldn’t remember
Through every step of this journey, I’ve leaned on the grace of God, which carried me forward. Like the words in 1 Corinthians 15:10, “But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace, which was bestowed upon me, was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all; yet not I, but the grace of God, which was with me.” This verse reminds me that despite all odds, it is by God’s grace that I stand where I am today, a farmer’s son, now a graduate. I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.

If someone had told me back in SS1 — during those long insurance classes I couldn’t quite connect with — that I’d grow into risk management, I probably would’ve disagreed. But growth has a way of changing our perspective.
Lately, I’ve found myself more involved in the world of risk management, and surprisingly, it’s been both engaging and enlightening. Beyond the technical aspects, it has also reminded me of a deeper life lesson: in life, you may face disappointment or even destruction, but you don’t have to be defeated. Much like insurance, where claims can restore what’s been lost, life gives us room to rise, rebuild, and begin again.
Another major highlight for me was the official launch of our Analyst Programme at Africa Plus Partners today. I’m truly grateful to Adeniran Ajakaiye and the HR team led by Chinyere Azike for creating such a dynamic platform for learning and development. The programme is already power-packed with insights, and I look forward to what’s ahead.
