I havenāt wanted to take on the task of cleaning out my phone or computer memory which has stoped me from creating for others & myself. š
Yet I couldnāt put my finger on the reason why I was so resistant to doing so.
Iām not the type to put things off I know will be beneficial for me, these past few years I just couldnāt. I was told to stop being lazy or procrastinating. I knew I wasnāt doing it on purpose & would constantly beat myself up for it. My mind was protecting me.
I realized by doing so I would have to relive many hurtful memories & my heart was not ready for it.
Slowly God has mend parts of me with gold. As I grow to trust the truth of my today rather than the hurt of my past. Iām becoming stronger, weakening those hard things to achievable things.
So if there is something thatās normally not hard for you but currently is, sit with it, donāt beat yourself up! Sit with it, work through it and thank your mind and God for constantly protecting you, even from past hurts.
