Absolutely blown away by the support, I can’t believe how well received this song has been and it makes me emotional because I truly put my whole being into my music. And to hear people who I’d listen to praise it is just so surreal.

In such a violent world, to be kind, to REMAIN smiling and dancing and SINGING in the faces of those who want you to fear is an act of defiance. I don’t remember the quote directly but I know they should have also added in that kindness does not mean complacency nor does it mean silence. Please please please let us start using our voices when genuinely possible. How did we stray so far from our humanity and care for eachother as humans…and if you can sit/stand and genuinely tell me that being able to see a video of an assassination and then directly after, see a clothes haul, and then directly after see images of child trafficking and tell me that that’s normal I fear you’re the perfect exhibit for our lack of humanity. None of this is normal, I repeat NONE OF THIS IS NORMAL. And we truly are not angry enough AT ALL…
It must be nice to live in a world where political violence is just a headline you can scroll past for some though. And Iwl sometimes I am quite jealous. And then I remember how proud I will feel regardless of outcome in the future knowing I didn’t bend the knee to genuine insanity.

Seriously some of the most beautiful pieces of art and structures I’ve ever seen in my life. You can quite literally feel the souls and stories that are forever engrained in the stone and writings…but one can’t help but feel a deep sadness knowing a lot of these pieces were stolen and are just aching to be returned home to where they belong…
