#Announcement After 28 years, hundreds of early starts, emergency button-sewing, and nearly 2,000 beautiful brides later… I’m officially stepping away from weddings. It’s been an incredible journey and a real privilege to be part of so many people’s big days. I’ve laughed, cried, calmed nerves, fixed bouquets, and yes, rescued more than one pair of false lashes from near disaster. Thank you to every single bride and bridal party who trusted me with your faces (and sometimes your sanity) over the years. But this isn’t me retiring, far from it. I’m just shifting gears. I’ll be focusing on writing beauty editorials and product reviews, teaching makeup lessons, and working on makeup for events, short films, and TV and commercial projects. And I’d quite like to go to a wedding and eat the canapés without checking my kit bag every five minutes. Here's to the next chapter, and I’m really excited about it. Super proud of my amazing daughter who won the King's Award for voluntary services. She started the charity @ciannassmile 14 years ago to raise awareness of sickle cell anaemia. Cianna is her daughter and my beautiful granddaughter and was diagnosed with Sickle Cell anaemia at just 3 days old. In the past 14 years Hayley and the charity has supported hundreds of families impacted by Sickle Cell in England by providing support, youth clubs, free days out, respite breaks, emergency supplies, resources and more. I accompanied Hayley to Buckingham Palace for the King's annual garden party. The King wasn't in attendance but Prince William, Kate, Prince Edward and Sophie and Zara attended. The weather was great so we stayed on the lawns, had tea, sandwiches and cake. Thank you @fayes_fitness for the most EPIC weekend in Bulgaria. I have discovered muscles in didn't have. The spa @grandhotel_therme was the best. If you haven't been on one of Fayes trips this was my first of many. I highly recommend it. I have gained a multitude of new friends. One big family of amazing people. I won a prize in the raffle from @pulsefitnessspa . Had an incredible massage and soaked up the sunshine. Worked out for the first time in 20 years! Every Thermal pool was just so incredible. I'm currently travelling and any flight over 2 hours dries my skin out. I tested this @erborian_uk centella barrier cream on the back of my hand last week and loved the way it plumped my skin. Last Thursday I had an amazing lunchtime session learning about @lorealparis Melaysl serum @celavi.london We did facial yoga and gua sha using the Revitalift Laser range. My skin felt amazing afterwards and I could see the lift from the yoga. I massage my face daily, do you? I find that my face feels less tense. I love this skincare range. Sometimes work is more than just applying makeup. This was an incredibly inspiring day. And i made a friend for life on set. In 2023 I spent 2 days @canonuk working with some of their team who had overcome life struggles and shone at work. All the people I did makeup for inspired me so much. While we were away we decided to have a pamper session in our room. We tested out the @sensoryretreats Divine Glow Self Heating Face Masks. It was so lovely and relaxing. I almost fell asleep while recording. I previously tried out the self heating eye masks and they were amazing too.
