“Candle in My Pocket” – A Photography Exhibition Some light doesn’t need to stand out, it simply stays with you. Fragments gathered across Europe, unplanned, strange, and quietly chaotic. Like a personal journal, or notes of fleeting thoughts. Not perfect, but real. 《Smultronställe｜野草莓之地》 photo book available online🩵 在瑞典語中Smultronställe，指的是一個只有自己知道的隱密之地 一個讓人感到平靜、自由、不受污染，能夠安心停留的地方。 它可能是真實存在的物理空間， 也可能是一個內在的精神空間。 每個人其實都有自己的「野草莓之地」， 有些人已經找到，有些人仍在尋找的路上。 這本書記錄了攝影師jiesi透過攝影和旅居， 一步一步尋找自己「Smultronställe」的旅程。 與平面設計師 @moiiom_w 合作 整體設計以白色展開，保留未被污染的靜謐空間。 在裝幀上以「窗戶」與「門」作為意象， 結合台灣常見的歐式窗花元素， 回應這段旅程中關於身份與歸屬的模糊與迷惘。 希望讀者在翻閱時， 像是輕輕推開一扇門， 慢慢走進這個世界… ＊每本附有蕾絲窗簾 ＊限量販售｜每本附有編號 Published by CANDLE IN MY POCKET @candlepocket.project Photographer @joycccat Designer @moiiom_w 《Smultronställe》 is now available online. In Swedish, Smultronställe refers to a hidden place known only to oneself — a space of quiet, freedom, and a sense of ease. It can be a physical place, or an inner landscape. Everyone has their own “Smultronställe.” Some have found it, others are still on their way. This book traces photographer Jiesi’s journey of slowly moving closer to her own Smultronställe through photography and moments of living and staying in different places. Presented in a diary-like format, it weaves together images and fragments of writing — small moments that were kept, rather than staged. Created in collaboration with graphic designer @moiiom_w , the book unfolds through the imagery of windows and doors, inspired by Taiwanese European-style window frames, reflecting a fluid sense of identity and belonging. The design is built around white, leaving a quiet and gently held space. As you flip through the pages, it feels like opening a door — and slowly stepping into this world.
